Mandibuzz Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Mandibuzz has a 510 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. It works best as a support. Roost with Rocky Helmet is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Mandibuzz's biggest threats include Manectric (Electric), Cloyster (Ice), and Tyranitar (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. Mandibuzz has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Big Pecks is the go-to ability for Mandibuzz. It protects against Defense drops. Its hidden ability Weak Armor can work in specific setups. Overcoat is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Mandibuzz fills the support role. It's a physical attacker with base 65 Attack. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Roost, Defog, Foulplay, and Toxic. Roost leads at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
