Liepard Best Moveset

Fast and fragile. 106 Speed fires Dark TermStab on short cooldowns from either 88 Attack or 88 Sp. Atk. The moveset picks physical or special per target and relies on pace over durability. 64/50/50 bulk collapses under anything. No Mega access.

Liepard Guide

  • Liepard's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), Pinsir (Bug), and Togekiss (Fairy), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Liepard's base 106 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.

  • Liepard can work for a story run. 446 BST is average, but Dark typing fills a niche depending on your team composition.

  • Don't let Liepard's 446 base stat total fool you. Prankster is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a pivot.

  • Run Prankster on Liepard. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Liepard also gets Limber and Unburden, but they don't compare.

  • Prankster is the hidden ability. It raises non-damaging moves' priority by one stage. Worth hunting for if you want Liepard to compete at a higher level.

Game Availability

Introduced in Black & White, Liepard has appeared in 8 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
