If Inteleon goes down before it attacks, it contributed nothing. If it doesn't, something on the other side is going down. It comfortably outruns most offensive threats. Only weak to Electric and Grass. Known as the Secret Agent Pokemon.

Everything pushes toward special damage here. Inteleon's Sp. Atk does the work, Defense pays the price. But you're still getting 3 Speed EVs per KO. Tough to catch, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.

Gigantamax Inteleon’s Water Gun move fires at Mach 7. As the Pokémon takes aim, it uses the crest on its head to gauge wind and temperature.

Sword

It has excellent sniping skills. Shooting a berry rolling along over nine miles away is a piece of cake for this Pokémon.

Shield

Inteleon Weakness

Good

Type-wise, Inteleon takes extra damage from Electric and Grass. The Water typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Inteleon leans toward special offense (base 125 Sp.Atk) instead of trying to wall anything.

Hard to wall, honestly. Inteleon threatens 10 types beyond its own STAB, with Flying and Normal standing out. Pair that with Hydro Cannon and Hydro Pump and switchins need to think twice.

How to Obtain Inteleon in Scarlet & Violet

  1. Sobble
    Step 1Obtain Sobble
  2. Drizzile
    Step 2Evolve into Drizzile
  3. Inteleon
    Step 3Inteleon
  • Inteleon works as a sweeper with 530 BST behind it. B-Tier on our list — a solid choice for the right team. That 125 base Sp. Atk does the heavy lifting.

  • Inteleon's biggest threats include Rotom (Electric) and Roserade (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Inteleon's base 120 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.

  • Drizzile evolves into Inteleon at level 35. Inteleon is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Sobble. At 530 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Torrent is the go-to ability for Inteleon. It strengthens water moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Sniper can work in specific setups.

  • Inteleon is leaning toward the special side (base 125 Sp. Atk). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 120 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.

  • Inteleon can be found in Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield.

Available since Sword & Shield, Inteleon appears in 2 games spanning 2 generations. Beyond its original form, it gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8.
