Sobble sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Inteleon as fast as possible. One of the newer additions from Gen 8. Only weak to Electric and Grass.
Sobble's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Sp. Def and Speed EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
When scared, this Pokémon cries. Its tears pack the chemical punch of 100 onions, and attackers won’t be able to resist weeping.
When it gets wet, its skin changes color, and this Pokémon becomes invisible as if it were camouflaged.
Sobble Weakness
GoodSobble is weak to Electric and Grass-type moves. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Only 2 weaknesses makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
Sobble is the start of a three-stage chain. It evolves into Drizzile first, then eventually reaches Inteleon. For breeding, average hatch time with a massive partner pool via two egg groups. Evolving adds up to 220 stat points total.
How to Evolve
Breed Sobble easily with 138 breeding partners from the Ground and Water1 egg groups. Pass egg moves like Aqua Jet, Aqua Ring, Double Team and 4 more to offspring.

Sobble isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Drizzile to unlock its full potential. At 310 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Sobble evolves into Drizzile at level 16. Sobble is the base form in a 3-stage evolutionary line.
Torrent is the go-to ability for Sobble. It strengthens water moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Sniper can work in specific setups.
Sobble fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 70 Sp. Atk. Base 70 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
Sobble can be found in Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield.
Introduced in Sword & Shield, Sobble has appeared in 2 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
