Hoopa Weakness
Hoopa is weak to Bug and Fairy. Watch out for Bug attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Psychic-type moves entirely. Hoopa's special bulk (base 130 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Hoopa Scarlet & Violet Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Hoopa is a Mythical Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 680 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a wallbreaker. Shadow Ball with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Magician is the go-to ability for Hoopa. It steals the target's held item when the bearer uses a damaging move. It's Hoopa's only ability.
In Scarlet & Violet, Hoopa fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 170 Sp. Atk. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Scarlet & Violet, the best way to handle Hoopa: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
Game Availability
As a Mythical Pokemon, Hoopa has limited availability — 6 games since its debut in X & Y. Typically obtained through special events or in-game quests rather than standard encounters.
