Stats & Training
Sp. Atk and Speed carry most of Cherrim's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Cheerfully active on sunny days. Immediately closes its petals and becomes immobile once the sun becomes hidden, however.
Cherrim Weakness
Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug moves hit Cherrim for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. 5 weaknesses means you'll want teammates that can handle the coverage gaps.

How to Get Cherrim in Sun & Moon
Cherrim Guide
For Sun & Moon, we rate Cherrim C-Tier: a niche pick in Sun & Moon's meta. At 450 BST, the stats are spread pretty evenly. Helpinghand with Absorbbulb is the standard set.
Flower Gift increases friendly Pokémon's Attack and Special Defense to 1.5× during strong sunlight. That's the one you want on Cherrim. It's the only ability Cherrim has.
Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Cherrim is leaning toward the special side (base 87 Sp. Atk). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sun & Moon, run Helpinghand, Protect, Solarbeam, and Sunnyday on Cherrim. Helpinghand is the most common pick at 19% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
