As a Grass-type, Cherrim fills a straightforward role. 5 type weaknesses to keep in mind. Known as the Blossom Pokémon. Introduced in Gen 4. Sits at a decent but contested Speed tier.
Sp. Atk and Speed carry most of Cherrim's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Cheerfully active on sunny days. Immediately closes its petals and becomes immobile once the sun becomes hidden, however.
Cherrim Weakness
FragileFire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug-type moves hit Cherrim for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. 5 weaknesses means you'll want teammates that can handle the coverage gaps.
Evolved from Cherubi. Cherrim is the final form in this two-stage line. No compatible partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. Speed grew the most through evolution (+50 over Cherubi), and Cherrim peaks at 450 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Cherrim to get Cherubi eggs easily from the Fairy and Plant egg groups. Notable egg moves include Aromatherapy, Defense Curl, Flower Shield and 11 more.
Start with max HP and Sp. Atk EVs. Modest nature gives Cherrim the right special lean, Absorbbulb adds extra utility, and Flowergift works in the background. Helpinghand is the main damage option.

Without breeding, Cherrim misses out on Aromatherapy and Defense Curl. That's 14 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Petal Dance and Solar Beam, with Normal and Fairy coverage rounding things out.

We rate Cherrim C-Tier — a situational pick that fills a niche. At 450 BST, the stats are spread pretty evenly.
Cherubi evolves into Cherrim at level 25. Cherrim is the fully evolved form. It sits at 450 BST in its evolved form.
Flower Gift increases friendly Pokémon's Attack and Special Defense to 1.5× during strong sunlight — that's the one you want on Cherrim. It's the only ability Cherrim has.
Base 85 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Cherrim is leaning toward the special side (base 87 Sp. Atk). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
