Is Bellossom Good in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Playthrough?
Sun Stone evolution from Gloom. Pure Grass without Vileplume's Poison typing. Handles Olivia and Hapu, but breed-only Oddish access and competition from native Grass-types make Bellossom hard to justify.

Bellossom Evolutions
Bellossom is one of 2 ways Gloom's chain can end. This one takes the item path, while the siblings go different directions. Breed through Oddish to get eggs. Bellossom and Vileplume share the same 490 total stats, but they're distributed differently. Check the comparison below to see where each one specializes. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.

USUM Bellossom Best Moveset
Pure Grass at 90 Sp. Atk and 100 Sp. Def with AbilityChlorophyll doubling Speed in sun. MoveSleep Powder puts targets down. But the moveset lacks Poison typing for Fairy coverage and 50 Speed without sun means acting last. Outclassed by Vileplume in nearly every role.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. After You and Charm give Bellossom options it can't learn any other way, and Fairy and Normal coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Leaf Storm and Petal Dance. The egg moves push it further.

Bellossom Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Bellossom looks average on paper at 490 BST. But Chlorophyll is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Quiver Dance with Quickclaw is the standard set.
Bellossom gets Chlorophyll and Healer. But Chlorophyll is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Bellossom is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Quiver Dance, Strengthsap, Giga Drain, and Moonblast. Quiver Dance leads at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Gold & Silver, Bellossom has been in 18 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
