Mid-stage Pokemon like Snorunt rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Glalie, which is where the real potential kicks in. Introduced in Gen 3. Only weak to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel.
An unusually even spread gives Snorunt flexibility. HP barely edges ahead. But any other stat isn't far off. Common in the wild and follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve. Yields 1 HP EV.
Their numbers seem to have rapidly increased in Alola. Custom has it that houses where Snorunt live will be prosperous for generations to come.
It can only survive in cold areas. It bounces happily around, even in environments as cold as -150 degrees Fahrenheit.

How to Evolve
Breed Snorunt easily from the Fairy and Mineral egg groups. Pass egg moves like Avalanche, Bide, Block and 7 more to offspring.
The recommended build leans into Snorunt's strengths as a special attacker. Toxic Orb provides self-poison for Guts or Poison Heal activation, and max Sp. Atk without Speed EVs back that up. Innerfocus rounds out the package.

Don't skip the egg moves. Snorunt picks up Avalanche and Bide only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Blizzard and Ice Beam while Dark and Normal coverage and more adds range.

Snorunt is meant to evolve into Glalie. At 300 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Inner Focus prevents flinching — that's the one you want on Snorunt. Moody is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Ice Body works too if your team needs something different.
Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Snorunt is a mixed attacker — base 50 Attack and 50 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
