Breaking through Registeel usually means hitting the special side — 50 base Speed is the obvious weak point. Poison moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Iron Pokemon. Introduced in Gen 3.
Defense leads and Speed gets almost nothing. That's Registeel's stat line in a nutshell. 3 stats sit in respectable range, but the spread is brutal. Near-impossible to catch and yields 3 Defense and Sp. Def EVs.
Tempered by pressure underground over tens of thousands of years, its body cannot be scratched.
Registeel Weakness
ExcellentRegisteel's Steel typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, and Ground moves. It shrugs off Poison-type attacks completely. With 10 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Registeel's overall bulk (80/150/150) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
You can't breed Registeel or evolve it into anything else. This Steel legendary packs 580 stats and doesn't need a chain to be relevant.
How to Evolve
Clearbody helps Registeel stick around while dealing real damage. Rocky Helmet for chip damage on every physical hit received, max HP and Sp. Atk EVs for the right balance, and Thunderbolt as the main threat. Not the fastest, but it doesn't need to be.

Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Registeel is a special attacker with base 75 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a wall.
