Rampardos Evolutions
Evolved from Cranidos. Rampardos is the final form in this two-stage line. Plenty of partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are slow to hatch. Attack grew the most through evolution (+40 over Cranidos), and Rampardos peaks at 495 total stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Rampardos to get Cranidos eggs using 79 partners from the Monster egg group. Notable egg moves include Crunch, Curse, Double-Edge and 8 more.
USUM Rampardos Best Moveset
165 Attack is one of the highest in the entire format. AbilityMold Breaker ignores opposing abilities and AbilitySheer Force boosts eligible moves as a hidden ability. Rock TermStab from 165 Attack obliterates anything that does not resist it. But 58 Speed and 97/60/50 bulk mean the moveset rarely survives to attack. The most extreme example of power without Speed.

Base Stats
In ancient times, people would dig up fossils of this Pokémon and use its skull, which is harder than steel, to make helmets.
This ancient Pokémon used headbutts skillfully. Its brain was really small, so some theories suggest that its stupidity led to its extinction.
Rampardos Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Sheer Force changes the entire equation for Rampardos. The 495 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a cannon. Firepunch with Life Orb is the standard set.
Sheer Force is what you want on Rampardos. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Mold Breaker) work on paper but Sheer Force is what makes Rampardos worth using.
At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Rampardos is a physical attacker with base 165 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a cannon.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Firepunch, Rockpolish, Rock Slide, and Crunch on Rampardos. Firepunch is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the cannon role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
