Stats & Training
Attack leads and Sp. Def gets almost nothing. That's Rampardos's stat line in a nutshell. 2 stats sit in respectable range, but the spread is brutal. Tough to catch and yields 2 Attack EVs.
Its powerful headbutt has enough force to shatter even the most durable things upon impact.
Its skull is as hard as iron. It is a brute that tears down jungle trees while catching prey.
Rampardos Weakness
Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel moves hit Rampardos for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. 5 weaknesses means you'll want teammates that can handle the coverage gaps.

How to Get Rampardos in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
Rampardos isn't available in the wild in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Start by transferring Cranidos from Diamond, Platinum, or Legends: Arceus. The evolution path from Cranidos to Rampardos is covered in the steps below.
Rampardos Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Sheer Force changes the entire equation for Rampardos. The 495 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a cannon. Firepunch with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Sheer Force is what you want on Rampardos. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Mold Breaker) work on paper but Sheer Force is what makes Rampardos worth using.
At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Rampardos is a physical attacker with base 165 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a cannon.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, run Firepunch, Head Smash, Ironhead, and Thunderpunch on Rampardos. Firepunch is the most common pick at 19% usage. This set covers the cannon role with a mix of damage and utility.
