Mienshao Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Mienshao looks average on paper at 510 BST. But Regenerator is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. B-Tier sweeper on our tier list. U Turn with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Mienshao's biggest threats include Dodrio (Flying) and Starmie (Psychic), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Mienshao's base 105 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Mienshao gets Regenerator, Inner Focus, and Reckless. But Regenerator is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 105 Speed, Regenerator gives Mienshao an edge before opponents can react.
Mienshao is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Speed tells the real story. Base 105 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is U Turn, High Jump Kick, Fakeout, and Stone Edge. U Turn leads at 0% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
