Black 2 & White 2 Gym Leaders

The Black 2 & White 2 Elite Four all sit at Lv 58, so the order you pick them in doesn’t change the levels. Iris follows as Champion at Lv 59, and Marlon’s all-Water team holds the last badge at Lv 51.

Story order

Black 2 & White 2 gym order, badges and level caps

CAP is each team’s top level, the Nuzlocke cap, and +N is its rise since the gym before. After the last badge comes the Elite Four at the Pokémon League: Shauntal, Grimsley, Caitlin and Marshal, in any order, then Champion Iris.

The switch changes the teams and level caps in this list. The rest of the page uses the Normal Mode teams.

Black 2 unlocks Challenge Mode once you beat the Champion, so playing the story in it means sending the Challenge Key over from another game with Unova Link. Gym leaders and the first Elite Four battles bring one extra Pokémon, and levels go up across the board. White 2’s Easy Mode keeps the Normal teams at lower levels.

New Pokémon to catch before each gym in Black 2 & White 2

Each row is a fresh batch of Unova catches for the battle ahead, best first by how well they do against the bosses still to come. Starters follow the ranked catches, and Pokémon not rated yet come last.
