It can control its body temperature at will. This enables it to freeze the moisture in the atmosphere, creating flurries of diamond dust.
It freezes its fur into icicles, spiky and sharp, and tackles its prey.

In Sun & Moon, Glaceon has a 525 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Sun & Moon's meta. It works best as a wallbreaker. Ice Beam with Choice Specs is the standard set.
In Sun & Moon, watch for Infernape (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Glaceon. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Snow Cloak increases evasion to 1.25× during hail. That's the one you want on Glaceon. Ice Body is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Sun & Moon, Glaceon fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sun & Moon, run Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Blizzard, and Hiddenpowerground on Glaceon. Ice Beam is the most common pick at 20% usage. Blizzard provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Glaceon has been available in 14 games since Diamond & Pearl, though obtaining it requires an item-based evolution. This extra step makes it less common than Pokemon found through standard wild encounters.
