Normal, Fighting, and Poison moves don't affect Gholdengo at all — that's the advantage of Steel/Ghost typing. It needs some investment to avoid getting outsped. Its damage comes from the special side. Introduced in Gen 9.
Sp. Atk and Defense carry most of Gholdengo's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Its body seems to be made up of 1,000 coins. This Pokémon gets along well with others and is quick to make friends with anybody.
It has a sturdy body made up of stacked coins. Gholdengo overwhelms its enemies by firing coin after coin at them in quick succession.
Gholdengo Weakness
FortressGholdengo is weak to Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Normal, Fighting, and Poison-type moves entirely. With 9 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.
Gholdengo evolved from Gimmighoul through a special method, landing at 550 stats as a Steel/Ghost type. Breeding isn't in the picture. Speed grew the most through evolution (+74 over Gimmighoul), and Gholdengo peaks at 550 total stats.
How to Evolve
Life Orb buys the setup turn. Gholdengo clicks Nasty Plot, then starts cleaning with Makeitrain and the remaining moves. Timid nature with flexible EVs EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

Recommended Teammates
TMs carry this one. Gholdengo learns Steel Beam and Make It Rain naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Rock and beyond give it real matchup play.
