The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Speed carry the offense, Sp. Def doesn't even come close. A Synchronize Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
This Pokémon apparently ties the base of its neck into a knot so that energy stored in its belly does not escape from its beak.
Thanks to a behavior of theirs known as “synchronizing,” an entire flock of these Pokémon can attack simultaneously in perfect harmony.
Electric, Ice, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy moves hit Flamigo for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.

We rate Flamigo B-Tier: a solid choice for the right team. At 500 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Base 115 Attack stands out.
Scrappy lets the Pokémon's normal and fighting moves hit ghost Pokémon. That's the one you want on Flamigo. Costar is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Tangled Feet works too if your team needs something different.
Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Flamigo is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Flamigo has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
Flamigo joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
