Farigiraf's Normal/Psychic typing gives it an immunity to Ghost. Only 2 weaknesses on top of that — it has plenty of safe switch-in opportunities. Sap Sipper adds more value on top. One of the newer additions from Gen 9.
Farigiraf's spread is anchored by HP, with balanced defenses backing it up. Speed is the clear weak point. Worth 3 HP EVs per KO, and the medium-fast 1M XP curve keeps leveling painless.
Now that the brain waves from the head and tail are synced up, the psychic power of this Pokémon is 10 times stronger than Girafarig’s.
The hardened head from the tail protects the head of the main body as Farigiraf whips its long neck around to headbutt enemies.
Farigiraf Weakness
GoodBug and Dark-type moves hit Farigiraf for super-effective damage. The upside? Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. Sap Sipper grants an additional Grass immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 120 HP and balanced defenses, Farigiraf can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
Farigiraf doesn't evolve through normal leveling. You'll need knowing a specific move to get here from Girafarig's line. Breed this form to get Girafarig eggs (average hatch time). Evolving from Girafarig gave Farigiraf the biggest boost in HP (+50), bringing the total to 520 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Farigiraf to get Girafarig eggs easily using 195 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include Ally Switch, Beat Up, Double Kick and 6 more.
Start with a spread EV build EVs. Modest nature gives Farigiraf the right special lean, Throat Spray adds a Sp. Atk boost after using a sound move, and Armortail works in the background. Psychic is the main damage option.

Don't let Farigiraf's 520 base stat total fool you. Sap Sipper is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it A-Tier as an attacker.
Girafarig evolves into Farigiraf after learning Twin Beam. Farigiraf is the fully evolved form. At 520 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Run Sap Sipper on Farigiraf. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Farigiraf also gets Cud Chew and Armor Tail, but they don't compare.
Farigiraf fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
