An unusually even spread gives Ducklett flexibility. HP barely edges ahead. But Attack isn't far off. Common in the wild and follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve. Yields 1 HP EV.
When attacked, it uses its feathers to splash water, escaping under cover of the spray.
They are better at swimming than flying, and they happily eat their favorite food, peat moss, as they dive underwater.
Ducklett is weak to Electric and Rock. Watch out for Electric attacks, those deal 4x damage. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground-type moves entirely. 5 resistances help offset the weaknesses.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Electric |
| 2x (Weak) | Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Fighting, Bug, Steel |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground |

One evolution ahead. Ducklett grows into Swanna through a straightforward two-stage chain. Plenty of partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. Evolving adds up to 168 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Ducklett doesn't rely on pure speed. Heavy-Duty Boots gives it hazard immunity on every switch-in to stay healthy, and Timid nature still pushes offense. Surf and double STAB keep the pressure on while spread EVs balance power and survivability.

Moves
TMs carry this one. Ducklett learns Brave Bird and Hurricane naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Fairy and Normal and beyond give it real matchup play.

Egg moves make a real difference. Ducklett gets Air Cutter and Aqua Jet exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Normal and Ice coverage rounds out the picture alongside Brave Bird and Hurricane.
