Copperajah's spread is anchored by Attack, with balanced defenses backing it up. Speed is the clear weak point. Worth 2 Attack EVs per KO, and the medium-fast 1M XP curve keeps leveling painless.
This Pokémon was brought to Paldea long ago by people from a faraway land. It’s so strong that it can easily pull an airplane.
Copperajah are prideful, cantankerous Pokémon. Specimens with vibrant green skin command the respect of others of their kind.
Copperajah's Steel typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, and Ground. It shrugs off Poison-type attacks completely. 10 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. With 122 HP and balanced defenses, Copperajah can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Don't let Copperajah's 500 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Watch for Infernape (Fire), Conkeldurr (Fighting), and Landorus (Ground) when using Copperajah. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. At base 30 Speed, Copperajah won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Run Sheer Force on Copperajah. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Copperajah also gets Heavy Metal, but they don't compare.
Copperajah fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Run Stealth Rock, Knock Off, Ironhead, and Whirlwind on Copperajah. Stealth Rock is the most common pick at 19% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Copperajah first appeared in Sword & Shield and spans 2 games across 3 generations. It later gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
