Is Blissey Good in Black 2 & White 2 Playthrough?
Friendship on Chansey. Normal with AbilityNatural Cure. If obtained, the highest HP in the game plus enormous Sp. Def makes it nearly unkillable on the special side. Any physical hit ends it. A wall against Caitlin and half the E4.

Blissey Weakness
Type-wise, Blissey takes extra damage from Fighting. Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Blissey's special bulk (base 135 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fighting |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

B2W2 Blissey Best Moveset
255 HP and 135 Sp. Def create the single most effective special check in the format. Opponents need a physical Fighting type because nothing special breaks through. Blissey Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Blissey looks average on paper at 540 BST. But Natural Cure is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. B-Tier wall on our tier list. Soft Boiled with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Blissey's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Blissey has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Blissey gets Natural Cure, Serene Grace, and Healer. But Natural Cure is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. Natural Cure synergizes with Blissey's base 135 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
Blissey is a physical attacker with base 10 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the wall role.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Soft Boiled, Seismic Toss, Thunder Wave, and Toxic. Soft Boiled leads at 0% usage. This set covers the wall role with a mix of damage and utility.
