How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Armaldo to get Anorith eggs using 33 partners from the Water3 egg group. Notable egg moves include Aqua Jet, Cross Poison, Curse and 6 more.
USUM Armaldo Best Moveset
125 Attack with 100 Defense and AbilitySwift Swim doubling 45 Speed in rain as a hidden ability. Rock/Bug TermStab from that Attack power hits hard. MoveRapid Spin clears hazards. But without rain, 45 Speed acts dead last, and Rock/Bug typing carries six weaknesses. The moveset sits at D-tier through rain-dependent physical power.

Moves List
Egg moves make a real difference. Armaldo gets Aqua Jet and Cross Poison exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Coverage across 8 types rounds out the picture alongside Stone Edge and X-Scissor.

Base Stats
It lived on land and went out into the sea to hunt for prey. Its sharp claws were its greatest weapon.
Armaldo adapted from living in water to living on land. It has been determined that it is the ancestor of some bug Pokémon.
Armaldo Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Armaldo's 495 base stat total fool you. Swift Swim is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Aqua Jet with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Armaldo's biggest threats include Gyarados (Water), Aerodactyl (Rock), and Metagross (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Swift Swim on Armaldo. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Armaldo also gets Battle Armor, but they don't compare. On wall sets, Swift Swim pairs with Armaldo's base 100 Defense to absorb physical hits on the switch.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Armaldo fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Aqua Jet, Xscissor, Aquatail, and Knock Off. Aqua Jet leads at 0% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
