On paper, Throh looks underwhelming. In practice, Mold Breaker ignores opposing abilities when attacking — and that's the whole story. Fighting typing means only weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Known as the Judo Pokemon. Built to hit on the physical side.
Raw HP carries Throh's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Atk barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Judo Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It performs throwing moves with first-rate skill. Over the course of many battles, Throh’s belt grows darker as it absorbs its wearer’s sweat.
They train in groups of five. Any member that can’t keep up will discard its belt and leave the group.
Throh Weakness
AvgType-wise, Throh takes extra damage from Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Throh's overall bulk (120/85/85) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
Breeding is the whole story for Throh. Plenty of partners through one egg group, eggs are average hatch time, and you won't need to evolve anything.
How to Evolve
Nothing fancy here. Throh builds around Flame Orb for self-burn for Guts activation, Adamant nature for the right stat lean, and max HP and Attack EVs. Guts does its job quietly.

Hard to wall, honestly. Throh threatens 12 types beyond its own STAB, with Dark and Rock standing out. Pair that with Close Combat and Focus Blast and switchins need to think twice.

Leveling does the heavy lifting. Throh picks up Superpower and Earthquake along the way, building toward a complete offensive set. TMs add Normal and Ground coverage and more, but the foundation's already strong by then.

Mold Breaker changes the entire equation for Throh. The 465 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a tank.
Throh doesn't evolve and has no evolutionary line. It's a Fighting-type Pokemon with a 465 base stat total.
Mold Breaker is what you want on Throh. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Guts, Inner Focus) work on paper but Mold Breaker is what makes Throh worth using.
Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Throh is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a tank.
