On paper, Throh looks underwhelming. In practice, Mold Breaker ignores opposing abilities when attacking — and that's the whole story. Fighting typing means only weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Known as the Judo Pokemon. Built to hit on the physical side.
Raw HP carries Throh's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Atk barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Judo Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
When it tightens its belt, it becomes stronger. Wild Throh use vines to weave their own belts.
When it encounters a foe bigger than itself, it wants to throw it. It changes belts as it gets stronger.
Throh Weakness
AvgType-wise, Throh takes extra damage from Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Throh's overall bulk (120/85/85) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
Breeding is the whole story for Throh. No compatible partners through one egg group, eggs are average hatch time, and you won't need to evolve anything.
How to Evolve
Breed Throh from the Humanshape egg group.
Adamant nature gives Throh the physical lean it needs to trade hits effectively. Leftovers adds passive recovery each turn, a spread EV build EVs split the difference, and the remaining moves punishes anything trying to wall it. Rest keeps it topped off between trades.

TMs carry this one. Throh learns Superpower and Focus Blast naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Ground and beyond give it real matchup play.
