As a Water-type, Wugtrio fills a straightforward role. Only weak to Electric and Grass. Known as the Garden Eel Pokémon. Introduced in Gen 9. Comfortably outruns most offensive threats.
Speed leads and HP gets almost nothing. That's Wugtrio's stat line in a nutshell. 2 stats sit in respectable range, but the spread is brutal. Tough to catch and yields 2 Speed EVs.
It has a vicious temperament, contrary to what its appearance may suggest. It wraps its long bodies around prey, then drags the prey into its den.
A variety of fish Pokémon, Wugtrio was once considered to be a regional form of Dugtrio.
Wugtrio Weakness
GoodElectric and Grass-type moves hit Wugtrio for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. At base 120 Speed, Wugtrio outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
Evolved from Wiglett. Wugtrio is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Attack grew the most through evolution (+45 over Wiglett), and Wugtrio peaks at 425 total stats.
How to Evolve
Wugtrio leads with Focus Sash insurance. Even if it can't take a hit naturally, it'll survive long enough to deal early damage. Max Attack and Speed EVs go all-in on offense since bulk doesn't matter here.

We rate Wugtrio B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. At 425 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Base 120 Speed stands out.
Wiglett evolves into Wugtrio at level 26. Wugtrio is the fully evolved form. It sits at 425 BST in its evolved form.
Gooey lowers attacking Pokémon's Speed by one stage on contact — that's the one you want on Wugtrio. Sand Veil is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Rattled works too if your team needs something different.
Base 120 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Wugtrio is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits. Best used as a sweeper.
