Sp. Def and Speed carry most of Toedscruel's stat budget. Defense's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Sp. Def EVs. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
These Pokémon gather into groups and form colonies deep within forests. They absolutely hate it when strangers approach.
It coils its 10 tentacles around prey and sucks out their nutrients, causing the prey pain. The folds along the rim of its head are a popular delicacy.
Ice, Fire, Flying, and Bug moves hit Toedscruel for super-effective damage. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Electric-type moves can't touch it at all. Toedscruel's special bulk (base 120 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Ice |
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Flying, Bug |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Ground, Rock |

We rate Toedscruel B-Tier: a solid choice for the right team. At 515 BST, it fits the pivot role. Base 120 Sp. Def stands out.
Mycelium Might status moves go last, but are not affected by the opponent's ability. That's the one you want on Toedscruel. Only ability available, so no decision to make.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Toedscruel is leaning toward the special side (base 80 Sp. Atk). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.
Toedscruel has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Ice, Fire, and Flying-type attackers hit hardest.
Toedscruel joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 1 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
