While most trainers evolve Silicobra into Sandaconda immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Electric moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Sand Snake Pokemon.
Silicobra's spread isn't flashy. Defense leads, Sp. Atk trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Easy to catch and worth 1 Defense EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Silicobra’s neck pouch, which can inflate and deflate like a balloon, gets more elastic each time Silicobra sheds its skin.
Silicobra’s large nostrils are specialized for spraying sand, so this Pokémon is not very good at telling apart different smells.
Silicobra Weakness
AvgSilicobra's Ground typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Grass, and Ice moves. It shrugs off Electric-type attacks completely. Silicobra's physical bulk (base 75 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
Silicobra evolves into Sandaconda. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. Plenty of partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. The evolved forms gain up to 195 total stats over Silicobra.
How to Evolve
Breed Silicobra easily with 65 breeding partners from the Dragon and Ground egg groups. Pass egg moves like Belch, Dragon Rush, Last Resort and 2 more to offspring.
Earthquake is the main STAB option after a Coil boost. Eviolite gives Silicobra a bulk boost that only works before full evolution to survive the setup turn, and a spread EV build EVs make the boosted hits count. The remaining moves catches resists.
