Stats & Training
You won't find a real weakness in Seel's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Sea Lion Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 1 Sp. Def EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It has always been supposed that Seel live only in cold seas. Their having shown up in Alola is a mystery.
Thanks to its thick fat, cold seas don’t bother it at all, but it gets tired pretty easily in warm waters.
Seel Weakness
Type-wise, Seel takes extra damage from Electric and Grass. The Water typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread.
