Petilil sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Lilligant as fast as possible. 5 type weaknesses to keep in mind. Known as the Bulb Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Petilil's spread. It leans special with Sp. Atk out front. And you'll get 1 Sp. Atk EV per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Some say if you dry the leaves on its head, boil them down, and drink the infusion, your vigor will return, so Petilil is popular with the elderly.
They prefer clean water and soil. When the environment they live in turns bad, the whole bunch will up and move to a new area.

Petilil's biggest threats include Infernape (Fire), Kyurem (Ice), and Crobat (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Flying and Bug-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 30 Speed, Petilil won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Petilil can evolve into Lilligant and Hisuian Lilligant depending on the method. Petilil is the base form in a 3-stage evolutionary line.
Petilil gets Chlorophyll, Own Tempo, and Leaf Guard. But Chlorophyll is the one that matters — it's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
