While most trainers evolve Phanpy into Donphan immediately, the unevolved form can still contribute in the right matchup. Electric moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Been around since Gen 2. Known as the Long Nose Pokemon.
Phanpy's spread isn't flashy. HP leads, Sp. Atk trails, 1 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 1 HP EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
For its nest, PHANPY digs a vertical pit in the ground at the edge of a river. It marks the area around its nest with its trunk to let the others know that the area has been claimed.
PHANPY uses its long nose to shower itself. When others gather around, they thoroughly douse each other with water. These POKéMON can be seen drying their soaking-wet bodies at the edge of water.
Phanpy Weakness
AvgPhanpy's Ground typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Grass, and Ice moves. It shrugs off Electric-type attacks completely. 3 weaknesses is about average, nothing too hard to play around.
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
