Without breeding, Lilligant misses out on Healing Wish and Ingrain. That's 4 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Leaf Storm and Solar Blade, with Fairy and Normal coverage rounding things out.

or evolve from Petilil (Step 1)
  • In Scarlet & Violet, Don't let Lilligant's 480 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker. Quiver Dance with Leftovers is the standard set.

  • In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Volcarona (Fire), Lapras (Ice), and Roserade (Poison) when using Lilligant. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Flying and Bug-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • In Scarlet & Violet, Run Chlorophyll on Lilligant. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Lilligant also gets Own Tempo and Leaf Guard, but they don't compare.

  • In Scarlet & Violet, Lilligant fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • In Scarlet & Violet, run Quiver Dance, Giga Drain, Terablast, and Alluringvoice on Lilligant. Quiver Dance is the most common pick at 20% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.

Lilligant first appeared in Black & White and spans 9 games across 6 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
