Between Chlorophyll and Grass typing, Lilligant carves out a strong competitive niche. It doubles its Speed in sun, which gives it an edge most Pokemon in its stat range don't have. Known as the Flowering Pokemon.
Lilligant's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Moderately hard to find and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It’s believed that even first-rate gardeners have a hard time getting the flower on a Lilligant’s head to bloom.
Essential oils made from Lilligant flowers have a sublime scent, but they’re also staggeringly expensive.
Lilligant Weakness
FragileFire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug-type moves hit Lilligant for super-effective damage. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage.
Lilligant doesn't evolve through normal leveling. You'll need an evolution item to get here from Petilil's line. Breed this form to get Petilil eggs (average hatch time). Evolving from Petilil gave Lilligant the biggest boost in Speed (+60), bringing the total to 480 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Lilligant to get Petilil eggs using 50 partners from the Plant egg group. Notable egg moves include Healing Wish, Ingrain, Sweet Scent and 1 more.
Quiver Dance is the main STAB option after a Quiver Dance boost. Sitrus Berry gives Lilligant a one-time health recovery at low HP to survive the setup turn, and max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs make the boosted hits count. The remaining moves catches resists.

Without breeding, Lilligant misses out on Healing Wish and Ingrain. That's 4 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Leaf Storm and Solar Blade, with Normal and Bug coverage rounding things out.

Step 2Lilligant ✓
Don't let Lilligant's 480 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker.
Run Chlorophyll on Lilligant. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Lilligant also gets Own Tempo and Leaf Guard, but they don't compare.
Lilligant fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Base 90 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Lilligant appears in 9 games, including Black & White, Black 2 & White 2, and X & Y.
Lilligant first appeared in Black & White and spans 9 games across 5 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
