Almost nobody uses Greavard in battle. It exists to evolve into Houndstone, which is a completely different story. Get it there and you won't regret it. Part of the Gen 9 roster. Normal and Fighting moves can't touch it, and only 2 types hit it super-effectively.

ExcellentGreavard's Ghost typing leaves it vulnerable to Ghost and Dark moves. It shrugs off Normal and Fighting-type attacks completely. Greavard's Ghost typing only leaves 2 gaps to cover.

How to Evolve
Breed Greavard easily with 195 breeding partners from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Ally Switch, Destiny Bond, Disable and 4 more to offspring.
Weakness Policy and Fluffy form the backbone. Greavard invests a spread EV build EVs to play its physical attacker role properly, and Jolly nature pushes Speed higher. Poltergeist handles the heavy lifting on offense. The remaining moves rounds it out.

Before you go hunting for Greavard, check which of the 58 spots belong to your version. Violet and Scarlet each have different walking encounters at Lv. 22-56.
At 290 BST, Greavard is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Houndstone before bringing it to any serious fight.
Greavard evolves into Houndstone at level 30. Greavard is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Pickup picks up other Pokémon's used and Flung held items — that's the one you want on Greavard. Fluffy is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Greavard is a physical attacker with base 61 Attack. Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 34 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
