Mid-stage Pokemon like Gible rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Garchomp, which is where the real potential kicks in. Electric moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Land Shark Pokemon.
Nothing fancy in Gible's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 1 Attack EV per KO for it. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It nests in caves untouched by sunlight. Its sharp teeth may fall out when worn away or after an impact, but they regrow within a few days.
Gible Weakness
AvgGible's Dragon/Ground typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice, Dragon, and Fairy moves. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Electric-type attacks completely.
Gible kicks off a three-stage evolution line through Gabite all the way to Garchomp. For breeding, takes forever to hatch with a small partner pool via two egg groups. The evolved forms gain up to 300 total stats over Gible.
