Almost nobody uses Flittle in battle. It exists to evolve into Espathra, which is a completely different story. Get it there and you won't regret it. Introduced in Gen 9. Only weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark.
Speed and Sp. Atk carry most of Flittle's stat budget. HP's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 1 Speed EV. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Flittle’s toes levitate about half an inch above the ground because of the psychic power emitted from the frills on the Pokémon’s belly.
It spends its time running around wastelands. If anyone steals its beloved berries, it will chase them down and exact its revenge.
Flittle Weakness
VulnerableFlittle's Psychic typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Ghost, and Dark moves. Standard number of weaknesses for the Psychic typing.
One evolution ahead. Flittle grows into Espathra through a straightforward two-stage chain. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. The evolved forms gain up to 226 total stats over Flittle.
How to Evolve
Breed Flittle easily with 45 breeding partners from the Flying egg group. Pass egg moves like Ally Switch, Hypnosis, Roost to offspring.
Calm Mind is the main STAB option after a Calm Mind boost. Eviolite gives Flittle a bulk boost that only works before full evolution to survive the setup turn, and max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs make the boosted hits count. The remaining moves catches resists.

Flittle is meant to evolve into Espathra. At 255 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Flittle evolves into Espathra at level 35. Flittle is the base form of this evolutionary line.
Speed Boost is what you want on Flittle. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Anticipation, Frisk) work on paper but Speed Boost is what makes Flittle worth using.
Base 75 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Flittle is leaning toward the special side (base 55 Sp. Atk). Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits. Best used as a support.
