Is Eelektross Good in Black 2 & White 2 Playthrough?

Thunder Stone on Eelektrik. Electric with AbilityLevitate granting Ground immunity. Zero type weaknesses. Nothing hits Eelektross super-effectively. Strong from both Attack stats with wide coverage. Ghetsis uses one in BW2 just like in BW. If you survive the Tynamo grind, Eelektross is untouchable.

B2W2 Eelektross Best Moveset

AbilityLevitate on a pure Electric type means zero type weaknesses in this format. 115 Attack and 105 Sp. Atk hit from both physical and special sides. Pokemon Black 2 / Pokemon White 2

Eelektross Black 2 & White 2 Guide

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Levitate changes the entire equation for Eelektross. The 515 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flamethrower with Leftovers is the standard set.

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Eelektross's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Levitate is what you want on Eelektross. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.

  • Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Eelektross is a mixed attacker with base 115 Attack and 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Giga Drain, and Volt Switch. Flamethrower leads at 0% usage. Thunderbolt provides reliable STAB damage.

Game Availability

Eelektross joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 9 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
