Step 3Evolve into Reuniclus
Duosion starts showing up in late-game routes at moderate rates across 2 encounter spots. The list below is sorted so you can pick what fits your current progress without scrolling through everything.
Base Stats
The stat bars tell the story: Sp. Atk carries everything and Speed's dead weight. But this Mitosis Pokemon still yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs per fight on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Its brain has split into two, and the two halves rarely think alike. Its actions are utterly unpredictable.
Duosion Guide
At 370 BST, Duosion is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Reuniclus before bringing it to any serious fight.
Duosion's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Chandelure (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 30 Speed, Duosion won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Duosion gets Magic Guard, Overcoat, and Regenerator. But Magic Guard is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Regenerator is the hidden ability. It heals for 1/3 max HP upon switching out. Worth hunting for if you want Duosion to compete at a higher level.
Duosion is a special attacker with base 125 Sp. Atk. Speed tells the real story. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the cannon role.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Duosion has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Duosion has appeared steadily across every generation since.
