How to Get Beautifly in FireRed & LeafGreen
Beautifly evolves from Silcoon at level 10. Getting there requires first a Wurmple trade from Hoenn, then a level-7 evolution roll that lands on Silcoon rather than its Cascoon counterpart.

Beautifly Weakness
Beautifly's Bug/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Rock, Fire, Electric, Ice, and Flying. Rock hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Ground-type attacks completely.

Beautifly Evolutions
Out of 2 evolutions from Wurmple, Beautifly comes from the level-up path. The method you use determines which form you end up with. Breed through Wurmple to get eggs. Evolving from Wurmple gave Beautifly the biggest boost in Sp.Atk (+80), bringing the total to 395 stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Beautifly to get Wurmple eggs easily using 37 partners from the Bug egg group.
FRLG Beautifly Best Moveset
100 Sp. Atk fires Bug TermStab from the special side, but Bug is physical in this format, wasting the Sp. Atk. AbilitySwarm boosts Bug at low HP. The moveset struggles with poor defensive stats and the type split working against it. Outclassed by Butterfree for sleep support.

Moves List
Without TMs, Beautifly's movepool is bare bones. With them, you get Grass and Normal coverage and more on top of Silver Wind and Aerial Ace for STAB. The natural kit handles basics, but TMs are doing the real work.
