Stats & Training
Bulk defines Zygarde's stat line. Defense and HP anchor the defensive side, but Sp. Atk can't keep up offensively. Near-impossible to catch and worth 3 HP EVs.
When the Kalos region’s ecosystem falls into disarray, it appears and reveals its secret power.
It’s hypothesized that it’s monitoring those who destroy the ecosystem from deep in the cave where it lives.
Zygarde Weakness
Type-wise, Zygarde takes extra damage from Ice, Dragon, and Fairy. Watch out for Ice attacks, those deal 4x damage. Electric moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Zygarde's physical bulk (base 121 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Ice |
| 2x (Weak) | Dragon, Fairy |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Poison, Rock |
| 0x (Immune) | Electric |
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Clefable's Moonblast hits Zygarde for 58-68%. Garchomp deals 39-46% with Earthquake.

Zygarde Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Zygarde is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 600 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a pivot. Earthquake with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Zygarde can Mega Evolve into Mega Zygarde. That's 700 BST, up from 600. The stat redistribution often changes its best role. Mega Stone required, one per battle.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Zygarde's biggest threats include Weavile (Ice), Garchomp (Dragon), and Sylveon (Fairy), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Weavile is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Zygarde has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Aura Break is the go-to ability for Zygarde. It makes dark aura and fairy aura weaken moves of their respective types. It's Zygarde's only ability.
Base 95 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Zygarde is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a pivot.
Game Availability
