  • In Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, Vaporeon looks average on paper at 525 BST. But Water Absorb is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier tank on our tier list. Acidarmor with Normaliumz is the standard set.

  • In Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, Vaporeon's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric) and Exeggutor (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Vaporeon gets Water Absorb and Hydration. But Water Absorb is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.

  • Vaporeon is a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the tank role.

  • For Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, the core moveset is Acidarmor, Baton Pass, Celebrate, and Scald. Acidarmor leads at 22% usage. Scald provides reliable STAB damage.
