Pidgeot's Normal/Flying typing gives it an immunity to Ground and Ghost. Only 3 weaknesses on top of that — it has plenty of safe switch-in opportunities. Known as the Bird Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.

Pidgeot Weakness
GoodType-wise, Pidgeot takes extra damage from Electric, Ice, and Rock. Ground and Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. With 83 HP and balanced defenses, Pidgeot can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Pidgeot is the final form in a three-stage chain from Pidgey through Pidgeotto. Breeding this form produces Pidgey eggs (quick to hatch). Evolving from Pidgey gave Pidgeot the biggest boost in Speed (+45), bringing the total to 479 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Pidgeot to get Pidgey eggs easily from the Flying egg group. Notable egg moves include Air Cutter, Air Slash, Brave Bird and 6 more.
Nothing fancy here. Pidgeot builds around Sitrus Berry for a one-time health recovery at low HP, Hardy nature for the right stat lean, and max HP and Attack EVs. Keeneye does its job quietly.
