Sheer Force drops secondary effects for a straight power boost, adding real value on top of Kleavor's already solid stats. Bug/Rock typing means only weak to Water, Rock, and Steel. Built to hit on the physical side.

Kleavor's all-in on Attack at the expense of Sp. Atk. The physical lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 3 Attack EVs and follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.

A violent creature that fells towering trees with its crude axes and shields itself with hard stone. If one should chance upon this Pokémon in the wilds, one’s only recourse is to flee.

Kleavor Weakness

Vulnerable

Kleavor is weak to Water, Rock, and Steel-type moves. Kleavor's physical bulk (base 95 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Kleavor isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Scyther from Red, Yellow, or Sword. The evolution path from Scyther to Kleavor is covered in the steps below.

How to Obtain Kleavor in Legends: Z-A

  1. Kleavor
    Step 2Kleavor
  • Don't let Kleavor's 500 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it A-Tier as a wallbreaker.

  • Kleavor's biggest threats include Gyarados (Water), Aerodactyl (Rock), and Metagross (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.

  • Scyther evolves into Kleavor using a Black Augurite. Kleavor is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Scyther. At 500 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Run Sheer Force on Kleavor. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Kleavor also gets Swarm and Sharpness, but they don't compare.

  • Kleavor fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 135 Attack. Base 85 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • Kleavor can be found in Legends: Z-A, Scarlet & Violet, and Legends: Arceus.

Introduced in Sword & Shield, Kleavor has appeared in 3 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
