Floette is meant to evolve into Florges. At 371 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Floette's biggest threats include Crobat (Poison) and Aegislash (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Flabebe evolves into Floette at level 19. Floette evolves into Florges using a Shiny Stone. Floette is a middle-stage evolution in the Flabebe line.
Flower Veil is the go-to ability for Floette. It protects friendly grass Pokémon from having their stats lowered by other Pokémon. Its hidden ability Symbiosis can work in specific setups.
At base 52 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Floette is a special attacker with base 75 Sp. Atk.

Since debuting in X & Y, Floette has appeared in 6 titles over 5 generations. Along the way, it received a Mega form in Generation 6, keeping it relevant across different competitive metas.
