Floette sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Flabebe but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Florges as fast as possible. Its damage comes from the special side. Introduced in Gen 6.
Sp. Def and Sp. Atk carry most of Floette's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Common in the wild and yields 2 Sp. Def EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
The flower it’s holding can no longer be found blooming anywhere. It’s also thought to contain terrifying power.
Terrifying energy is concealed within its ominous flower, but Floette still swings it about innocently.
Floette Weakness
GoodType-wise, Floette takes extra damage from Poison and Steel. Dragon moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Floette's special bulk (base 98 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
Sitting between Flabébé and Florges, Floette is part of a chain that requires an evolution item. Not your typical level-up setup. Sp.Def has grown the most so far (+19), but there's still another 181 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Breed with Floette to get Flabebe eggs from the Fairy egg group. Notable egg moves include Camouflage, Captivate, Copycat and 1 more.

Breeding's the move. Camouflage and Captivate give Floette options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Grass coverage already covers a decent range on top of Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam. The egg moves push it further.

Floette is meant to evolve into Florges. At 371 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Flower Veil is the go-to ability for Floette. It protects friendly grass Pokémon from having their stats lowered by other Pokémon. Its hidden ability Symbiosis can work in specific setups.
At base 52 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Floette is a special attacker with base 75 Sp. Atk.
Floette appears in 6 games, including X & Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
