While most trainers evolve Chansey into Blissey immediately, the unevolved form can still contribute in the right matchup. Ghost moves can't touch it, and only a single type hits it super-effectively. Known as the Egg Pokemon.
The stat line revolves around HP. Percentage recovery gets extra mileage here. Sp. Def backs it up, though Attack doesn't pull its weight. Worth 2 HP EVs on a fast 800K XP curve to max out.
It walks carefully to prevent its egg from breaking. However, it is extremely fast at running away.
Being few in number and difficult to capture, it is said to bring happiness to the Trainer who catches it.

Watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Chansey. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Chansey has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
