Stats & Training
Treecko's spread isn't flashy. Speed leads, Defense trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 1 Speed EV, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It quickly scales even vertical walls. It senses humidity with its tail to predict the next day’s weather.

Treecko Weakness
Treecko is weak to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. That's a lot of weak spots to cover so team support is important.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Bug |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water, Electric, Grass, Ground |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet

FireRed & LeafGreen Treecko Best Moveset
Bulk and offense in one package. Treecko runs Leftovers for passive recovery each turn with a Jolly nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Substitute. Max Sp. Def and Speed EVs and Normal coverage make it hard to safely switch into.

Moves
Egg moves make a real difference. Treecko gets Crunch and Crush Claw exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Coverage across 8 types rounds out the picture alongside Solar Beam and Giga Drain.
