FireRed & LeafGreen Trapinch Best Moveset
Earthquake is the safe click most turns. Choice Band locks Trapinch into it but rewards with raw power at the cost of move flexibility. Adamant nature and max HP and Attack EVs maximize that first hit. Arenatrap helps on the margins.

Trapinch evolves into Vibrava at level 35. Takes some grinding. Plan your team around the mid-game wait.
For FireRed & LeafGreen, you can run Trapinch through the first few routes without issues. 290 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Vibrava as fast as you can.
