Ghost moves don't affect Stoutland at all — that's the advantage of Normal typing. Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack on switch-in. Known as the Big-Hearted Pokemon. Introduced in Gen 5.
Attack and Defense carry most of Stoutland's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
These Pokémon seem to enjoy living with humans. Even a Stoutland caught in the wild will warm up to people in about three days.
Stoutland is immensely proud of its impressive moustache. It’s said that moustache length is what determines social standing among this species.
Stoutland Weakness
GoodStoutland is weak to Fighting-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. With 85 HP and balanced defenses, Stoutland can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
End of the line. Stoutland caps a three-stage chain that started at Lillipup. Breeding produces the base form, and eggs are quick to hatch. Attack grew the most through evolution (+50 over Lillipup), and Stoutland peaks at 500 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Stoutland to get Lillipup eggs easily using 138 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include After You, Covet, Howl and 3 more.
For a defensive wall, Stoutland wants a spread EV build EVs and Heavy-Duty Boots. The Careful nature tilts toward special wall duty, and Intimidate contributes without taking a move slot.

Intimidate changes the entire equation for Stoutland. The 500 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker.
Stoutland's biggest threats include Lucario (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Intimidate is what you want on Stoutland. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Sand Rush, Scrappy) work on paper but Intimidate is what makes Stoutland worth using.
Base 80 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Stoutland is a physical attacker with base 110 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
Stoutland appears in 7 games, including Black & White, Black 2 & White 2, and X & Y.
