Stats & Training
Sp. Def and Speed carry most of Mimikyu's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Def EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It wears a rag fashioned into a Pikachu costume in an effort to look less scary. Unfortunately, the costume only makes it creepier.
There was a scientist who peeked under Mimikyu’s old rag in the name of research. The scientist died of a mysterious disease.
Mimikyu Weakness
Type-wise, Mimikyu takes extra damage from Ghost and Steel. Normal, Fighting, and Dragon moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Mimikyu's special bulk (base 105 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Mimikyu Guide
In Sword & Shield, Disguise changes the entire equation for Mimikyu. The 476 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier. Play Rough with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Mimikyu's biggest threats include Chandelure (Ghost) and Aegislash (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Disguise is what you want on Mimikyu. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
Base 96 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Mimikyu is a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Play Rough, Swords Dance, Drain Punch, and Shadow Sneak. Play Rough leads at 24% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
