BDSP Latias Best Moveset
Dropped from S-tier as 110/130 across Sp. Atk and Sp. Def at 110 Speed on Dragon/Psychic typing couldn't maintain the original Gen 4 dominance. AbilityLevitate adds Ground immunity. The moveset runs fast special offense with real special bulk. A-tier because the Speed and Sp. Def combination still outperforms most of the format.

Moves List
Most of Latias's flexibility comes from TMs. Same-type output runs through Draco Meteor and Dream Eater, but Flying and Ground and the rest of the TM pool push it from predictable to genuinely threatening.

Latias Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Latias is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 600 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Calm Mind with Leftovers is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, but Latias does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Latias hits 700 BST.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Latias's biggest threats include Walrein (Ice), Pinsir (Bug), and Gengar (Ghost), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Latias has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Latias gets Levitate. But Levitate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 110 Speed, Levitate gives Latias an edge before opponents can react.
Latias is a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
Game Availability
