It has an internal organ that senses the earth’s rotation. Using this special organ, a HOOTHOOT begins hooting at precisely the same time every day.

Emerald

Hoothoot Weakness

Hoothoot's Normal/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Ice, and Rock. It shrugs off Ground and Ghost-type attacks completely. Hoothoot's special bulk (base 56 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
